Meet Your Guide, Rebecca

I’m Rebecca Clendenin, wife to Nathan and mom to two fun-loving boys, Samuel and Henry, and a baby girl named Louisa. Some things we love include: our church, pancake breakfast, bluegrass music, camping the National Parks and traveling far and wide.

I believe in exercising a growth mentality when facing things that are daunting. For me, overcoming fears has looked like many things, but nothing has been as rewarding as giving birth. The ability to experience that high is what I hope to help my couples achieve. I’m here to help you navigate the many decisions you’ll face. To move from a place of fear to a place of confidence.

There are no guarantees in childbirth. But knowledge is empowering. It’s a true joy for me to share my knowledge and experience with you, so you can welcome your little one into the world with peace and confidence.

Embrace the Journey: 5-Week Birth Education for Expectant Couples

Over the course of 5 weeks, 2 hours each week virtually via Zoom, we explore our hopes and fears, birth in our current culture, the normal process and stages of labor and birth, natural comfort measures and coping skills, pharmacologic options for managing pain, when birth doesn’t go as expected, medical procedures, cesarean delivery, partner preparation, birth plans, baby procedures and practices, bonding, postpartum recovery and adjustment and more.

The cost for the course is $240 per couple. A computer with webcam and reliable Internet is required. You’ll have direct access to Rebecca during the sessions and on email in between sessions.

Much of what I learned, I had no idea I needed to know! It was great to learn as much as I did so I can be a better partner. Honestly, our experience was so valuable, we feel like we owe Rebecca more money than what we paid.
